Hooray For The Longest Day

June 21st, the longest day of the year, is one of my favorite days. I'm a daylight person, I'll take all of it I can get. Here's some photos I have taken the past couple days--

Hi Caren, Your pictures make me so sad. I think I drew once that mountain in the first photo. I have a friend in Aspen from high school that I visit once. Molly Childs. We were in Modern Dance Club together in 1970. Now about the columbine. That one sends chills down my spine too. Somewhere in the Rockies on that trip long ago, I was srawing this kind of columbine and something buzzed right up to my face. It turns out it was a hummingbird. And yes, I have been to Independence Pass too. I really should go back. All the drawings from that trip were done in pointalism in pen and ink. I still have the journal. I really think that mountain in the drawing is the same one. I just friended you. I hope it is OK. Diana
