Working at Drager.. again..

Short post...

Last night I watched Nanny 911, a four-year-old girl said, "I don't want to hold that vagina!"

She was talking about their hamster.

I thought I was going to die from laughing.

It's been a little while since I last updated.. I have been pretty busy. I have subbed every day since spring break, and it has been exhausting. The kids seriously have spring fever, and it's of course only made worse when they had a sub. Today hasn't been so bad so far. The kids in this classroom are pretty sweet and funny. Well, I have a week off of subbing because the kids are on spring break. I am looking forward to getting some wedding stuff done! Tomorrow we're going to be doing yardwork... all day. As you can see, it's way too early in the morning.. ;) I am subbing at the middle school again, and her first 2 hours are planning time. So I don't have students until 9:15. I'm at the high school today. I've been here the past three days. I really enjoy it a lot. I'm doing special ed this week because they're all in doing IEPs. I was a little nervous at first, but the kids are actually incredibly fun when you take a chance to get to know them. Well, I am sitting here at Drager again, this time with 6th graders. Wow, what a difference! They are so much more calm and attentive. This is much better than Friday. I was at the high school, and I had freshmen and sophomores. That was awful. I got a paper ball thrown at my back while I was writing things on the board. What in the world? ( Read more... )

I just survived the worst stomach flu I can ever remember having. I was so out of it, I hardly remember the horrible snowstorm we got. But, I do remember the people on snowmobiles riding by my house at 1:00am. Random.

In other news... In exactly six months, I am getting married!

I CANNOT believe how fast this day is going to sneak up on me!
