The Claw, Oh Dear!

It's happened again. My addiction reared it's ugly head.
I was in Safeway and I walked over to the Claw Toy Machine.

There nestled in the mix was Pokey! You know, Gumby's horse.
He's prolly a 12 inches tall. I couldn't believe it.
I wanted him, and I wanted him bad.

I am impressed! I stink at playing the claw machine so I've always had my more experienced male friends play in my place to win me things. My favorite is an astronaut bear a friend of mine won in high school. We designated the bear as my car's mascot and put him in the back window. His name is "Bob." The guy whom won it for me and I say we share joint custody of it so when I visit Indy I take "Bob" up for a visit. My friends and I are such dorks!

LOL, and continues to LOL. I remember you hollering to your husband as you walked out to claw for stuffed animals, "I'm going hunting." I have to say you were always a good little hunter, you never came home empty handed! (I still have my lolli-pop kid and mayor from the Wizard of Oz that you captured for me.) By the way, is your Pokey rubber or stuffed?

Oops! Never mind about the rubber-stuffed inquiry. I see you answered that in the last sentence of your post. Whew! If he was rubber I was worried that I might not be able to control my need to gain possession of him. I probably would have talked you into bringing him on our train trip then horse-napped him. Whew! (I have a giant rubber Gumby, but he don't bend)

Thanks, for a while I went through sort of a "thing" with it. I'm mostly over it, except for the occasional game.
