I am so angry. We are having a contest with the other Caribou's to sell Amy's blend and raise money for breast cancers. We even have a chest of hope this year that donates them to a local hospital of the donater's choosing. Great. And for the first two weeks, we were number one in the district. Yay

Overall, I think the best way to modify behavior is with praise. Instant, on the spot praise, so the person receiving the praise can associate it with the desired actions. If the praise is recorded, and feeds into future rewards, even better.
I'm guessing I dealt with relatively new employees, as they'd never had to handle payment by check before. At least one employee asked if he could help me (good), although he didn't ask until I'd just found the Amy's Blend.
I was somewhat rushed, so maybe I missed it, but there wasn't any (glaringly obvious) signage for the Amy's Blend. Having some signs might help, especially when a purchase helps out a charity. But again, I was rushed, and I may have missed a glaringly obvious sign...

Positive re-enforcement seems to be the way I was dealing with it. I gave Cassie a WAY TO GO! card for asking everyone that day. And a coloring book skylarker dropped off for that perpose the next. Kara and Rod were getting the idea and we did a good job yesterday, but I don't think we will make it
On the bright side, I have decided my boss will not really fire me for not making that goal. It was a nearly impossible goal to begin with. Besides, if he fires me, the he has to do all the work. =)
Thank you VERY much for comming by and getting some. Again, sorry not to be there. I should have said about my hours before.
