So I went with some friends to see Narnia last night: excellent movie. There were some things that got left out of the books, and some things that got added, but I thought they did a really good job of keeping the tone of the books. And they did a good job with the animals, too -- sure, there were places where they obviously weren't real, but

thank you. i agree. i've been talking to narnia snobs recently. and i really don't see anything in narnia to invite snobbery. sure, if Mr Tumnus had been cut from the script, i'd've had a problem, or if there had been a coca-cola machine at the war camp, but he wasn't and there wasn't, and they did a damn fine job.

Yeah... I've been hearing a few of people complaining that some of the animals don't move right, so the movie sucks, or that they changed this or that scene, so the movie sucks, or... well, you get the idea. Granted, there are things I would have liked to have seen, but oh well.
