Ganked from cronickain

Well, I went for the playlist that would have easy ones on it. I couldn't use the all Tina all the time list. (Sorry, I believe that we haven't met so I don't know if that part of my reputation has reached you.) The filk list would be fun, but not really large enough either for rule 5. The Broadway list would have been fun, but only tajnyj, cronickain, and ga_sunshine would have been a gaurentee to hang with some of the more recent and obscure stuff I have.

You are correct, and as soon as I figure out how to do a strike through...

Hi my name is Mark and I'm and alcoh...um nevermind. We haven't met but we do have friends in common so I'm not a psychotic lurker randomly posting at will.

BTW is #3 Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves?

You know for a hetero I do know a lot of the gayest music.

Now I wonder how much about me Sean has told you.

I knew you were one of Sean's friends from Chattanooga (sp?). I missed out on the trip where Rob met you.

What gay music? I've got Backstreet Boys up there, and Madonna. There is absolutely nothing gay about Paula Abdul or Cyndi Lauper. It isn't like I have the Village People or The Pet Shop Boys on the list. (That isn't to say they aren't part of the play list, just that they weren't in the first twenty songs by different artists in the random shuffle.)

So, basically, your current playlist is "Every Song That's Ever Been in Queer as Folk," yeah?

Nah, I would have plotzed if they had ever played Tina, and I think the producers would have found Cher and ABBA a little too stereotypical. Plus 19 is too recent for any but season 5 which doesn't premiere until Sunday. Only one of the songs is off any of my QaF soundtracks.

OK, only a few of them, I forgot that 10 was on the list, and how many things made it onto the QaFUK soundtrack.

I'm sorry. I don't know if you want the playlist's title or not, but it is "Dance/Disco." The title is misleading since there are a number of songs on it that are not of either genre, but I like to dance to them anyways.

17. Crocidile Rock - Elton John
19. Rich Girl - Gwen Stafani (She stole it from Fiddler on the Roof)
3. Gypsies, Tramps, Thieves - Cher

I'm sorry, Sir, but the title is incorrect.

It isn't theft. It is called a cover/adaptation. It isn't even like she sampled it. Granted she dumbed it down a lot, but it is catchy. Plus it is fun to watch all the trendy yungins (you know like your fiancee) dancing to it at the club, and picturing them dancing with Topol as Rev Tevye.
