So my brother just told me a few minutes ago that one of my dad's best friends committed suicide last Friday. After years of alcoholism and years of struggling to make ends meet, a bounced 100 dollar check was the last straw for him.  It's just so sad to me that people can be so far down that they can't find any way out.  :(
