I wonder how much the family connections factor in when it comes to divorce? Ryan loooooves my family and they love him, so I think that would definitely factor in. The fact that Ryan is an only child probably augments it. On the other hand, no one really liked my sister's ex... Of course, I think the fact that he was a total douche has more to do with it.

When I was young, I was kind of embarrassed to be from a large family. But now I like it. I don't know if I really want to have a large family myself, but there's a pretty good chance that there will be plenty of family around either way...
