The Legion home have asked us if we have photos of Father in uniform for their Remembrance Sunday display. We have a large number of photos, but not that many with my father in them. I've loaded the best of them to Flickr and now I have to sort out printing some decent large-sized copies. They should all come out reasonable quality at A5, but my

Thanks for sharing these. It was easy to pick out your father from every picture except the first; he has your smile and your hair. In the first picture, he didn't look like you, since he wasn't grinning. Of course I have seen you serious and thoughtful, but that isn't your serious and thoughtful expression.

Interesting. I've been told before by family friends that I have my father's smile and can see it more clearly in these photos now. That first one he appears to be eating something - possibly sucking a sweet! :)

You may be able to download a driver for your 2008 Canon if you have a search on the internet.

I'm trying to remember how old my Canon was. It was certainly getting on for that age and it worked fine with Win 8.1. I've just had to replace it for other reasons, but it could be worth a try before you shell out for a new printer.
