Having failed to do anything positive about getting any work, I have finally pulled my finger out and booked a room for EasterCon. Got into the Renaissance at a decent pay-up-front price of £60pn, so hope nothing dramatic happens before then. Planning on Friday - Monday, thought probably leaving early on the Monday. :)

Ina and I weren't at Worldcon as much as we would have liked, due to not managing to book the dogs into kennels. (We were commuting, but...) I mostly hung around the dealers, the fan area and the art show.

Current plan for me is arrive Friday, leave Monday - although Kalypso_V has just informed me that we will be Engineering Worked, and the two hour trip to Euston will now be three hours. :-/ So we'll probably be arriving later and leaving earlier in the day than originally intended.

By travelling Thursday I'm avoiding one lot of engineering work but Monday is going to be fun. Instead of leaving from Euston, I have to travel from Marylebone and change stations in Birmingham. However, I intend to take the minimum of luggage, so it should be OK.
