I was asked for many times about russian music - becouse I also consider that probably some of you haven't any idea about our culture and especcially music. As well as we have here some really good and soulful catching songs and bands and singers. Just Ok...Let me introduce you some of them. With a bit of pre-hystories concerning this music.

One of my favourite Russian band - Agata Kristie. I have been on 2 their concerts and now I'm a bit tired of their music and quite dissapointed with their last albums.

Alisa (my dear friend  blur_kiwi    noticed that this band sounds like russian Blur - and I will probably agree. Quite diverse melody and music.)

Bi-2 (in fact it is Russian-austrilian band as its members lived for long in Melbourn as I know. That's probably the reason why they have such a  european sound)

The next song is very special for all those who grew up in 90's becouse it is from OST to the famous film Brat (Brother) where one of the most popular and adorable in Russia actor Sergej Bodrov was staring. His tragic death was kinda national tragedy. And that song song will always remind of him. You can see him in that video.

The next band - Nautilus Ponpilus had also a very huge influence on all russian people, music and art. It was popular until the 90's and then it doesn't exist anymore thought their leader singer Butusov continue making good music, but not as soulful and touching as it was in earlier years with the text of cult russian rock poet Ilya Kormilzev who died from a desease not very long ago.((((((((

Ok, I think that would be enough for the first time. I think I could write about another russian music in one of my next entries)
