My first day on work.

Sep 24, 2010 20:03

Well, I am happy to claim now that I got a job since that day. They liked me and after my interview yesterday they suggest me working there, thought the suggestions aren't very brilliant. Today was my first day at work - well, a half of a day, becouse at the morning I had driving courses - I drove once again in the city and at this attempt I was ( Read more... )

Oh, my dear friend, I am really pleased for you. Congratulations on getting the job. :)))

The first day at work can be very strange. It's nice that it was just a half day to find your bearings. I'm sure you will fit in well. Not every day will be easy but I think that, over all it's the right thing for you now. You will be able to apply a lot of your knowledge and experience of travelling. Just think you may soon have to advise someone about a journey to Austria and you will be able to tell them all about the wonderful things you did and saw. Don't forget to tell them about the desserts!

I'm really pleased and proud of you. Now, don't forget to gain experience and learn about the world of work and find ways of applying it.

Take care. :)))

Thank you so much! Your support is so important for me.

I quite agree, first day can be quite a mess. And I was so nervous about it, but then I consider it went quite good. Well, today I understand that I am not almost that inexperienced and green worker that I thought I was. I have my own experience of travelling and that's not very bad thought I haven't worked much in that way.

I adviced quite much even today - I gave so much nice impressions about Prague, Spain...That they wanted it too.

I hope I will have an opportunity to learn. I think ocassionally I 've fouind something that I want to connect my life with)

Well, I don't want to appear immodest, but, that's how I said it would be for you. I thought that you would fit into the travel business. Yes, it all makes me very proud of you. :)))

Oh you're welcome. Yeah those are the best kinds of evening walks. The ones that are done spontaneously.

Glad you got the job! First days are always both exciting and terrible, it seems you're given far more information than your brain could contain. I worked for a travel agent for a short period of time years ago, as work placement during my degree in Rome, and really enjoyed it, it's really interesting.
