Better That we Break (Maroon 5)hannah_salixNovember 9 2007, 04:11:36 UTC
Hannah wasn't feeling too badly. She wasn't feeling wonderful, but that was to be expected. Most of the morning, she'd stayed in bed, dozing off and on. She'd found several things in her pockets, a few of which were owls with Carlisle. After re-reading them, she realized it sounded like Carlisle had decided to have some fun with Olivia and Tobias last night. Gross.
Now she was headed to the Great Hall, hopefully to clear her mind and be able to eat a little bit. She wanted to do some reading, but had decided against the library at the last minute, not really wanting to do anything that required thinking.
She glanced over when she heard someone walk up beside her. Well well well, if it wasn't Carlisle. Hannah rolled her eyes, but said a polite hello. And then continued walking to the Great Hall. It appeared as though he were also headed in that direction. Okay then.

"I guess you were as drunk as I was last night, huh?" Carlisle continued, despite the fact that Hannah was acting a little odd. He HAD been intending to tell her of the ALL TOO HILARIOUS Olivia moment right off the bat, but...
"At least, I'm guessing that from your owls. You didn't sound real sober."

Hannah nodded, looking sidelong at him. Sure Carlisle, just keep talking away. "That I was," she said. "Great owls by the way. I'll be sure to treasure them for life."
Ugh. She was cranky at him and really did not want to hear about how his night went. He was obviously going to start talking about it. Probably. Hannah wasn't sure. What else were they going to talk about? The prospective lunch that they were going to eat?

"Also? You missed something insanely great last night," he continued, figuring it might cheer her up and fix her un-Hannah like mood. Granted, he was hoping to cause a LITTLE intrigue in her first, at least, and held off on informing her of Olivia's fantastic falling incident.
"Please," he said, taking a step forward with a smirk. "Like I'd ever have a threesome with Tobias. He's way too self-centered. I'd want the attention on me in that sort of situation." He was joking, sort of. Except for the part where he wasn't REALLY joking. Perhaps he should've added that he would never be in a threesome with another bloke, despite the lack of truth in that.
Hannah rolled her eyes. "I truly and honestly feel sorry for whichever poor girl is involved in a threesome with you. You and Tobias are just..." She shook her head, not wanting to finish that sentence.
"Whores," she said with a shrug. It wouldn't do for her to think about how incredibly sweet Carlisle had once been. Every now and then she missed the old Carlisle. And then told herself to shut up and stop thinking. Because she had just gotten out in time. Right? Right.
"Besides, I tend to assume that you're shagging whichever female you're talking to."
"Shame that's not true," Carlisle replied, realizing that this was a potentially very awkward thing to say. Particularly if she garnered his meaning from it. Which was, of course, that he was currently talking to Hannah and wouldn't have minded if that were true.
Hannah laughed, assuming that he meant that he wanted to be shagging a lot more girls than he was. She didn't assume he was talking about her. That would be ridiculous. The mention of food took her mind off of anything else.
"I am EXTREMELY hungry, actually. I missed breakfast. I was sleeping and recovering for most of the morning. Apparently Absinthe is a strong alcoholic beverage. Who knew?"
She started to walk with Carlisle towards the Great Hall. "You have to come sit with me, by the way. I'm not going to sit at the Slytherin table."
Hannah shook her head, as she was quite certain that most of the pictures he had of her were lame. She was going to say so, when he said that she was not getting any blackmail material pictures back. This didn't really bother her, though the way he said it made her want to argue with him. "WHAT? I totally am getting those pictures back. You just wait."
"Not a chance, I've already had them duplicated and locked in a safe somewhere... tropical." Well, not really, obviously, but it sounded good. Although, it was true that there wasn't a chance she was getting ANY of the pictures back. He'd be keeping them, thanks, the good and the bad.
With the exception of the ones he'd burned, of course.
Hannah stared at him. Somewhere tropical? "Right, because I'm sure you'd put that much effort into anything, let alone random pictures." Carlisle wasn't known for his CAN DO attitude. "They're probably buried somewhere in your trunk. You're not really as much of a fiendish mastermind that you pretend you are."
Hannah always considered herself quite the evil mastermind when she wanted to be. Perhaps she should concentrate on that for awhile. Concoct some evil schemes and the like. It would give her a distraction from all the crap that had been going on, at least.
"Well, I have some pictures of you in there. I did actually make duplicates of all the really bad ones," and the really good ones, "that are still at home, though." He flashed a grin over at her, in a fairly decent mood considering.
"You'll never succeed in getting them all, and attempts will merely force me to share them with the world!"
