There's a Dark Tower comic series out, and if you've read the books I really encourage you to buy it, even if you aren't normally a comics fan. In fact, you should read the series anyways, as the art is absolutely beautiful and the story is great. You should also probably get reading the books, too, because they ROCK. There's apparently a high-rise building in Poland that was never completed, and it's been just the frame standing against the sky for twenty years. The good part is that they've nicknamed it "Szkieletor," which, apparently, is Polish for "Skeletor." I went to the library and they were selling books for 50 cents each. I managed to scoop up Neuromancer, The Hunt for Red October, and Battlefield Earth for a grand total of $1.50. And considering that Battlefield Earth is as big as any three normal books, that's a pretty good deal. Also I've wanted Neuromancer since I read it last summer, so HUZZAH ( Read more... )

First, several people have expressed dismay at the new Indy movie, suggesting that without the Nazis the movie will suck.
