Actually I hate Essendon more than Collingwood. I know I'm in the minority there but I just hate their supporters. They're up themselves. Even now when they've lost major players and coach in recent years they still expect to be at the top of the ladder - rebuilding doesn't even enter their minds.

I kind of like Collingwood supporters for their passion and dedication. If there was more of it other clubs wouldn't have the financial difficulties they have.

Having said all of that...yes it was sad. But I saw it coming. They're a good side and they've done an excellent job at rebuilding with younger players.

Agree about Setanta - all talk not so much action in recent times.
I think Jamison was under used in this game too.

The funny thing is, most Carlton supporters who don't hate Collingwood the most hate Essendon. I mainly love seeing them fail cause it removes bragging rights from my family haha.

Though, Dad loathes the coach and incessantly rants about him. He hates his tactics and how he "raped" the reserves.

But yes, it was one of those things you see coming and hope it never gets there lol. There's no one I hate losing to more than them. But knowing how well we can play, then seeing that, was the worst of all.
