oh my god... i just watched "sometimes in april" last night on pbs. that movie seriously made me think. i don't even remember hearing ANYTHING about it when it was going on. i mean, i was only like 9, but still. i totally agree with you on just about everything you said except the part about murder being a way of life. that is partly true, and partly untrue. for SOME muslims, YES, that IS a way of life. but not all muslims are like that. i'm not sure which group it is exactly, so excuse me if i mix these up, but i know that in israel for example, and i think in iraq too, there are two groups of muslims. there are the more extremist shiite muslims who are the ones you hear about setting off car bombs and killing people, etc. and then there are the sunni muslims who are more peaceful. the only reason i'm saying this is because i think we need to be careful about making generalizations about people as a group just because they are IN a group. not EVERYONE is the same. and i think sometimes when we start making generalizations

No, not all muslims are that way. But, if they are true muslims and following the islam faith then killing is part of their religion. Have you ever read the Qu’ran..if they are following that book then they aren't going to be a peaceful people. And as far as generalizations go they are Ishmaels seed and will always be at war with Israel, its right there to read in the Old Testament. You cannot justify sin or generalize it, it is what it is. And I didnt mean for it to sound as if I had no compassion on them or viewed them wrongly. Because truly, I am sad for their nation and the ones buying into these lies are living empty lives. And I see them just as capable to kill another man as anyone else. Our hearts are deceitful, you know.
