Yeah um, Vin? If a woman's willing to go to Hell to get you and can make you semi-rational? She's a pretty amazing woman. Keep it that way so I don't have to smack you upside the head again for being a dumbass.

Well, he's taken my working at Rhia's pretty well. Hasn't accused me of stalking him yet, but that could be because he was too busy worrying about you.

Anf here I thought the reason you were working at the club is that you had your mind set on taking home poor Preach.

No, I don't think you'd want me to get hurt. I just think some things are more imortant than others.

Carly, 600 years is a long time to remember what I wanted to be when I grew up. Plus, there wasn't a lot of choice in the matter, I grew up I helped out Dad and Mal.

Maybe I'll see if thats something she'd want to do, take a trip or something. I haven't even talked about any of this with her. The quitting, the cloaking. I don't know what she's gonna think.

You're right, I know you are. I don't know where any of this is going or if it's even something that he and I may need to discuss in the future.

*looks at him and smiles*

I know that, too Vin. And it means more to me than you'll ever know. That's all I want for you, you know. To be happy. Mom didn't make us immortal so we could spend eternity being miserable.

You're damn straight she did. Not that Lexi would agree.

*finishes her beer*

Now I'm going to leave you alone so you can go spend some time with Tori. Just remember, talk to her about maybe staying up here. And tell her you love her, because we all know you do.
