Dear Id Pro Quo Author,
Hi! This is my first time participating in this exchange, and I wanted to give you a little information on my likes and dislikes in general and in particular as it relates to my requests.
General dislikes: Let’s get the unpleasantness out of the way first. Please no rape/noncon/dubcon (except where indicated in prompts), and please don’t write anything about asylums or horrible things happening to mentally ill people. I can’t handle it. I also don't like cruelty or sex with a lot of detail re: fluids. And I really would prefer a happy story, so please no angst or sad endings.
Likes: I love stories. Stories are my favorite thing. I love all kinds of stories, but my favorites tend to be character driven. They have dialogue and small moments that illustrate relationships or grow characters, not just move the plot along. I love small character details. I want to know the song that gets stuck in Maverick Mitchell’s head when he’s bored. I want to know what Ray Levoi dreams about when they're not visions. I want everything. You cannot give me too much.
I love found families, and close relationships both romantic and non. I love all the different kinds of love the Greeks had that are all in Tumblr gifsets now. I love people loving each other and enjoying each other’s company. It’s so great, okay? It’s the best thing.

I love this ship and their snarky, reluctantly fond love. I tend to prefer stories that are a little down the road, not just “what happens after Ray leaves the rez.” Ray’s going to need some time to get his shit together, so give him a few months, y’know?
I like a lot of tropes for this pairing, and please feel free to mix and match. I do have preferences about sexual and power dynamics. I prefer Ray bottoming and subbing. In the prompts where someone's getting spanked, Ray gets spanked; in the prompts where someone's a virgin, Ray's a virgin. I do have a spanking kink, though I don't view spanking as sexual by default; I'm really more interested in non-sexual spanking scenarios where spanking is used as a punishment or for catharsis. I love these boys so much. I really do. There are some gorgeous, gritty, super realistic stories about what happens to these boys during their time in the service, and I love those stories, but I'd really like something a little less real for this.
I like a lot of tropes for this pairing, and you can definitely mix and match however you see fit. I see both Ice and Maverick as versatile, so I don't have any preference to who tops or who doms. (The only exception is for the prompt about size difference, because obviously Maverick is tiny and he's the one getting manhandled.) I will happily read any rating for this pairing.

Batman Forever was the first superhero movie I saw in theaters, and I still have a soft spot for it. I love Kilmer's soft, competent Bruce Wayne and the integration of Bruce Wayne and Batman. I love Chase, who is accomplished and confident and goes after what she wants. I love Dick's wit and earnestness and the way his journey mirrors Bruce's. And I love Alfred and how he loves his boys.
I also have a spanking kink, and the parental relationship Alfred has with Bruce, coupled with all the incredibly dangerous things young Bruce Wayne did while learning to be Batman, fits my kink aesthetic perfectly.
