I'm sorry you feel this way. I wish that I could help you out. The only advice I can offer is this: you are absolutely right. You should not have to change who you are to be in a relationship with someone. Changing yourself will only benefit you short term, to help you get into a relationship. A real, loving relationship is built on two people being honest with each other. I think that love is not about overlooking or ignoring the other person's flaws (or differences), but in this case recognizing them and loving them despite those things. Well, if you ever need or want to talk to a friend, I am always willing to talk or to listen.

a bit of advice from a rude person who wont let you sleep. inmylife March 20 2005, 13:49:42 UTC
i think that you try and find these perfect things about people (drinking tea, listening to music) the second you meet them. maybe its all about finding someone and then seeing if they fit your mold right away and give them somting to fit into. Instead of having your mold and testing the waters for months at a time. People don't know what to do unless you tell them.
