What is this constant flux that I seem to be living in? My feelings, emotions and general state of being are perpetually perplexing. I graduated from the University of Washington on June 10th and have been floundering like a fish out of water ever since. My drying scales only warn me of my eventual respiratory failure. I stare blankly at the ( Read more... )

the devil in your ear, huh? hahaha. . . . sometimes you have to give to get, man.

on the upside, you really only have to sustain yourself for a year before grad school or something better comes along.

That's not nice. I judge individuals, not groups. End of story.

Noah, you are a beautiful person who deserves nothing but the best in life. However, no matter how much you desirve something it doesn't mean it will come to you. You have to find your own middle ground and take to the sea and the sky. If you don't mind me using your analogy, you need to become a flying fish. Be part of the world but don't let it drag you down because, oh, it WILL try and drag you down ( ... )

Oh, yeah. And Clint is a little too negative sometimes. there is always good with bad. You worked hard for the degree and it is not even close to the equivelant of a high school diploma. It only seems that way because of the widening gap between middle and upper class. Also you live in Seattl;e where there is a huge populaton of people with Masters degrees so your view of the whole country might be a little skewed.

Dear Cora,

Thank you so much for your kind words. And thanks for being such a good friend. I'm going to see Steely Dan and Michael McDonald tonight! I'm so excited.

You're definitely correct about Clint's negativity. In my opinion it's a waste of energy, but he's still a great guy. And, yes, competition is fierce in Seattle. Oh well, I've worked pretty hard for the degrees I have and am willing to work harder for any more that I may acquire.

Let's get pizza again sometime soon... eh, after I get a job. haha.

Ever since the movie "40 Year Old Virgin," Michael McDonald make me giggle.

Yeah, he was pretty good last night, but the mighty STEELY DAN blew him and every other band off the face of the planet. They are unstoppable.

I worked at Pagliacci's, remember? That's not for me. haha.

I can seriously listen to his music all day long.
Perhaps we can find a way to get joint custody of his children.

Thanks for the invite. Are we still on for Saturday? I could come over then. Sounds like a grand ol' time! We could listen to some sweet music and you could get whooped on your foosball table. (I've been practicing --- in my mind!)
