I wish this had been an option when I completed NaNoWri.

That's great! I love seeing all the NaNo support that's been coming out over the last two years.

Are you going to give it a shot this year?

It's very tempting, but I don't think I'm ready to for a NoWriMo so soon. I've done a novel writing month twice - once in November, once in February - and those need serious attention. I think doing another NoWri would keep me from doing any edits on those right now and I should be working on those. But what am I doing instead? Researching freelancing.

What about you? Are you going to go on a writing binge for the month?

Yes, I'm giving it another go. One of these days I might actually finish something I write, too!

I agree with you, editing your existing work is more important right now, as is the freelancing. I'm wishing you luck in that; you have a wonderful writing voice and I hope to see our Meg's name under an article somewhere soon!

Thank you. :)

I've ordered a couple of books that should arrive around midweek. They are both books on freelancing, one from the perspective of doing this with small kids and one that seems to be the bible among freelancers for good (accessible/understandable without being overly technical) information. I'm hoping by Christmas to have some queries out there.

And why have I never had a chance to read any of your NaNo attempts? I don't know if I've read any of your work.

That's one of the first good things I've seen from the new ownership of LJ.
