I was hoping that posting it would give me a bit of a kick to get writing again (I actually expanded what I had by a bit before posting).

I'm glad you liked it and think it deserves to be expanded!

My problem was that I didn't have a feeling for where to go with the underlying science plot (the use of the seed ship data stream as a vehicle for gaining some control of Destiny - this is all set pre-discovery of the bridge). But now I have a germ of a plot idea - so we will see!

Re-read your stories, and indeed, those were very subtile, nearly overread them. And I also enjoyed to read the story (both) again, and would (still) love to read more. Your style is good to read for me and includes a lot of subtile descriptions, which I love, if they're well done.
And, are you motivated now?

So nice to see you here! Thanks for the kind words - the plotty-science stuff is the key, I have to see where it leads me, and at first it just lead me to a brick wall. Not nice, that.

But I now have hope, and maybe soon a plot, and thus more writing.

I miss this show so much it actually HURTS. Where is my beloved Colonel Young? Where is my infuriating Rush? I refuse to believe that they will be sleeping in those pods forever.

If fanfiction is the only place they can wake up, we have to keep at it.
