going private

Oct 06, 2005 13:29

OK boys and girls, I'm beginning to get a little uncomfortable with this journal being completely public. From now on (at least for a while) I'm going to make it friends-only. So if you are not on my friends list but want to keep reading, just add me and I'll add you back. Thanks!

Ah,it looks like we're still friends. I hope so.
I'm sorry if my journal gets gargantuan in the next days. There's literally nothing to do at work (systems down, week #2) and a lot going on outside of it.

Thinkin' about you & mom & hope everythin's alright.

Scary when people come out of the wood work, isn't it?

Karen-

Hey, we graduated from Grissom the same year but you may be one of those 600+ folks I didn't recognize on graduation day. Who are you, girl?

Hi Kate! I am Karen Hicks. Just looked you up in my senior yearbook but I didn't see you. Did you graduate in 93?

whoops! So much for me and numbers... Regardless, it's nice to touch base with a hometown girl. I've been in Brooklyn since August of last year. Here for my Masters in Art History. I'll add you to my friends list so we can catch up that way, K?

Yes! Thanks. I take it you are the person I met at Oleg's birthday party?

Yep - the only person there.... ;-)

Actually, the only person with a "1" series Canon - does that count? Funny beard. Told you about slinging your camera strap as a tool instead of a neckstretcher. Ringing any bells?

Welcome to my world..
