Summary: Hyungshik tries to get Kevin to realize his feelings for him.

"Ahhhh!"

Kevin's head whipped around at the sound of a scream behind him.

He, Minwoo and Hyungshik were on an early morning run and somewhere along the way, Hyungshik had fallen a step behind. When he saw the younger boy clutching his ankle, he instantly rushed towards him. Minwoo was there a second later and they both stared at the swelling ankle.

"Can you walk?" Minwoo asked as he tried to help Hyungshik up.

Kevin supported him from the other side and all three of them staggered backwards as Hyungshik's legs gave out and he sank back to ground.

"Crap," Kevin shouted as he reached into his pocket. "I didn't bring my cellphone."

"Either did I."

"Wait," Hyungshik mumbled. "I have mine .... somewhere"

As he desperately searched his clothes, Kevin spotted an object behind them.

"Please tell me this isn't yours," he said holding up a cellphone snapped in half.

Hyungshik gasped and clutched the broken pieces as his bottom lip began to quiver.

"It's almost time to leave for our schedule," Minwoo said looking at his watch. "I guess I'll have to run back and get the manager to bring his car."

"Hurry," Kevin called after him as fresh tears rolled down Hyungshik's cheeks.

"My parents are going to kill me," he whimpered as he tried to stick the two halves back together.

Kevin rubbed his back and took the phone from him.

"We'll worry about that later. How's your ankle doing now?"

Hyungshik tried moving it and instantly cried out in pain. Kevin shouted a second later as nails dug into his arm.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry," Hyungshik apologized as he rubbed at the red crescents branded into the flesh.

Kevin was about to tell him he was okay when Hyungshik suddenly bent down and kissed the reddening skin. Blood rushed to Kevin's cheeks and he tried to turn away before the other boy could see his face.

But he wasn't fast enough and Hyungshik caught the shy expression. He grinned as his mischievous side went to work planning a way to make Kevin even more embarrassed. By the time Kevin looked back at him, tears were rolling down his cheeks as his face contorted with pain.

"Hyung...." he moaned desperately. "It's throbbing so badly. Make it stop!"

Hyungshik got hurt all the time but this was the first time Kevin had seen him in so much pain. His heart fell into his stomach as Hyungshik looked at him with glistening eyes that expected him to make it all better.

"What .... what do I do?"

"My mom used to give me a kiss when I got hurt."

At the word kiss, Kevin blushed madly and ducked his head to look at the ground.

"Hyung...." Hyungshik pouted while tugging on his sleeve.

Kevin sighed and started leaning toward his foot.

"No, no, no. Here," Hyungshik pointed to his forehead.

Kevin hesitated before quickly moving closer to get it over with. When he was inches from his forehead, Hyungshik suddenly leaned his neck back and let their lips meet.

Kevin's eyes flew open and he tried to jump back but a hand around his neck kept him in place. Seconds passed as neither boy moved and their lips stayed awkwardly pressed together. Finally Hyungshik pulled away and Kevin frantically rubbed his lips against the back of his hand.

"W-what was that?" he stammered.

Hyungshik raised an eyebrow and smirked. Before Kevin could respond, they heard a car horn and looked up to see Minwoo waving at them.

Once they got back to the dorm, Minwoo helped Hyungshik to his room while Kevin talked to their manager about the ankle. The other boys were running around getting ready and Kwanghee was screaming somewhere behind him so when the manager asked if he was willing to stay home with Hyungshik, Kevin nodded his head without fully understanding what he had said. A few seconds later, he realized what he'd just agreed to and started shaking his head wildly. But it was too late. The manager was already herding the other boys out the door and he didn't even look back at Kevin before shutting the door behind them.

Suddenly Kevin was standing in the middle of a cluttered living room, eyeing Hyungshik's bedroom with fear. He jumped up when a voice called out.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Hello?! Did you guys leave me here alone?"

Kevin took a deep breath and reminded himself that he was a mature adult and he shouldn't be walking around scared of a kid three years younger than him. He would clear up things with Hyungshik once and for all and then sit back on the couch to watch tv for the rest of the day. He took a step towards the door and froze as Hyungshik limped out completely naked.

Kevin eyes bulged out of their sockets and he nearly choked on his spit.

"Hyung!" the other boy said with surprise. "I thought no one was here."

Noticing the panicked look on Kevin's face, Hyungshik tied the towel in his hand around his waist before leaning against the wall.

"Can you help me to the bathroom? I really need a shower."

Kevin took a few deep breaths before nodding his head and walking towards him. After helping him inside, Kevin turned to leave but Hyungshik grabbed the back of his shirt. He leaned in until his chest was flush against Kevin's back and spoke into his ear.

"I need you, Hyung."

Kevin's mouth went dry and his knees started to shake.

"I need you to wash my back. It's starting to get itchy."

Kevin released a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding and turned to find a wash cloth in Hyungshik's hand.

As he finished showering, Kevin went out to get sandwiches and they ate on the couch while watching cheesy daytime dramas.

Suddenly, Kevin felt a weight on his shoulder and turned to find a sleeping Hyungshik resting there. He looked so peaceful and relaxed that Kevin didn't have the heart to wake him up. As he was staring at his face, Kevin's eyes lingered on Hyungshik's mouth. He flashed back to the kiss from that morning and his cheeks began to burn again. Kevin was so focused on Hyungshik's soft lips that he didn't realize the other boy was awake.

Hyungshik secretly watched as a wave of emotions fluttered across Kevin's face. Guilt, desire, confusion, fear. He could read them all.

Tired of waiting for Kevin to realize his feelings, he took the initiative and reached up to stroke his cheek. Kevin jumped back when he realized Hyungshik was not only awake but making his heart fluttered with his gentle touch. As Kevin fell backwards, Hyungshik followed and they ended up horizontal on the couch, a bundle of arms and legs.

Hyungshik buried his nose in the crook of Kevin's neck and gently kissed the warm skin. Kevin could see where this was going and part of him wanted to get up right now and put as much distance between them as he could. But the other part of him .... the other part was already fantasizing about the taste of Hyungshik's lips.

Hyungshik grinned as he watched Kevin's resolve breaking and leaned up to softly kiss his cheek. He continued moving along his jawline, towards his ear, down his neck and up towards his chin. When he arrived at Kevin's lips, he froze and waited for the other boy's reaction.

Kevin looked up at Hyungshik's expectant face and eager eyes. Logic really didn't seem all that important anymore and he pulled Hyungshik towards him. The awkwardness from before was gone and their lips moved against each other with ease. Kevin pulled Hyungshik closer and was working his hand into his hair when he heard the other members' voices getting louder.

Kevin's eyes flew open and he tried to get up but Hyungshik kept him pinned down.

"What are you doing?!" Kevin whispered in panic. "They're coming back."

"So?"

"So? We can't let them-"

Kevin's voice was silenced as Hyungshik leaned in to kiss him again. He could hear the key being slid into the lock and he desperately tugged on Hyungshik's shirt.

"Is it embarrassing to be with me?"

"N-no. I ... I just need time to sort things out."

"Fine," Hyungshik said as the doorknob began jiggling. "But you owe me one."

Kevin nodded his head vigorously and moved away from Hyungshik just as the members poured into the living room.

Later that night, Kevin tossed in his sleep as his brain refused to slow down. He had a million questions and doubts running through his head but he couldn't find the answer to any of them. Giving up, he crawled out of bed and crept into the living room. He sat down on the couch and buried his head in his hands.

"Returning to the scene of the crime, huh?

Kevin looked up and saw Hyungshik standing in front of him with his arms crossed across his chest. He sighed and dropped his head into his hands again.

"I can't deal with this .... I need time .... I need to-"

Hyungshik grabbed Kevin's arm and yanked him off the couch. He pulled him out the door and up the stairs to the roof. Once they were outside, he spread out his arms and gestured at the night view.

"Don't talk. Just enjoy the moment."

Kevin took a deep breath of the crisp night air and felt peace wash through him. Silently, they both stood side-by-side as the city continued moving around them. For every person that was sleeping, there was another rushing somewhere in the darkness. As Kevin stared at the passing cars, he saw a shivering Hyungshik out of the corner of his eye. Before he could think over what he was doing, he had pulled Hyungshik closer and wrapped his arms around him. Hyungshik smiled and put his hand on top of Kevin's.

"You know," Kevin said as his body began to warm up. "Maybe we don't need to figure everything out right now."

Hyungshik twisted his head to the side and kissed Kevin's cheek.

"You are so wise."

Kevin's head fell back as he burst out laughing at the sarcasm. Soon his stomach was starting to hurt, his body was warm and cold at the same time, his love life was up in the air and he was scared to death of the future.

But right now. Right at this moment.

Life was good.

First Ze:a fic! Sorry it took so long to finish but the story just kept getting longer and longer.
I have an idea for a fluffy SiKwang fic next but I'm not sure when I'll have the time to write it...
