I was watching the news tonight, and of course they are talking about Katrina and such, but they also had a special report on a life saving project the army and Uof D is working on, that might be in works by 2006, so of course i decided to watch it.  The report stated that the army and U of D (university of Delaware) is creating what looks to be

Well it sounds like it's new. I'm sure if it could have been available sooner it would have. New inventions come when they come. ZThis sounds great, though.

I'm sure those nuts who create armor piercing bullets will find something to get through it, though. It's a shame.

yeah, i know, but it just hits home a bit, knowing that if it was out sooner, my firend might still be here. You are right, no matter what we come up with, people are gonna figure out a way to get by it.

It's like that scene in Star Trek 5 where McCoy recounts to Kirk, Spock, and SyBok how he helped his suffering father to die because he was in such pain, but then shortly after they found a cure.

With every single new invention or cure there is someone who could have used it a week earlier :(
