I have the soppiest, hugest grin on my face right now, this is beautiful. The tone is so soft and subdued that everything that happens feels very natural and quiet. And all the little details that make it absolutely perfect: Remus' sunburn and Sirius cooking, in particular.

And the ending! And how contained and secret this feels with the war all around them. I love this, you captured so much of what I was hoping for when i submitted the prompt.

I appreciate your desire for constructive criticism but I truly have none for this. I was caught up in the dream-like feel of this and I'm utterly enchanted!

On a technical note - It's Remus/Sirius and can fit the known canon universe and yet it is a part of the marvelous rs_career_fest. How'd you do that?! Before the posting began, I truly expected an all AU, all the time celebration......

I'm a little shocked myself, since I have no idea how I managed this at all. I think this was one of the few prompts that easily allowed for a canon 'verse. :D
