Absolutely fabulous! I think you found Buckbeak's voice admirably well! I love all the little 'asides'--'...because he was a gracious hippogriff...' and 'once again, being the bigger hippogriff...'--so that Buckbeak sounds suitably proud and dignified.

Very clever! Bravo!

Aah, I never thought I'd live to see the day I'd read a fic by a mighty hippogriff, and yet here it is! I love how you captured that voice, distant from Sirius and his emotions, but after a while, we get to see the slow deepening of their relationship. A grudging one from the get-go, but animals never trust so easily, do they?

And Sirius's enthusiasm at the end broke my heart, in light of what happens next. It just did. I think I'm crying now. This is illegally beautiful.

I loved Buckbeak's voice, here! It was really unique. I can honestly say tha tI've never read a fic like it, before. So, props for good writing and for creativity.
