I adore Buckbeak, and you've truly made him come alive. I love how you took the idea of formality/politeness in canon to a whole, new wonderful level. The way he prides himself on his politeness is really marvelous. In a very strange way, I can relate to him, too. Hell, he's more human than half the human cast of canon.
But you've made Sirius (poor, wonderful Sirius) come alive here, too. This bit nearly killed me: And he turned his shadowed grey eyes toward Buckbeak in the gesture of a man pleading to be listened to. Buckbeak snorted onto the sand t decided it would be quite rude to be eating while his only friend was pouring his heart out to him, so opted for swallowing as much of the bird carcass as he possibly could in two quick bites. So perfect! In fact, all of Sirius' speeches were wonderful, so sorrowful and exuberant at the same time ( ... )

Hee, I've always been fascinated with Buckbeak as a character, and when I realized that I'd never read a character piece about him, I knew I had to write it! I'm glad he's been well-received. :) And Sirius too, since he's a lot harder for me to write than Remus.
I am so honoured! Of course, you may use this piece for anything to do with the rs_games. I can't wait for the Games to start, since I'll be sure to participate this year! :D Thank youuu~

What a brilliant and inspired fic. I wonder what other animals could be similarly so humourous and wonderful to read. Hedwig, possibly, she seems to at once understand harry but also understand he can be a bit of an idiot.
I love the intelligence and superiority of Buckback. Its so fitting. Very clever too how throughout the fic the voice develops from begrudging, to pity in a way, to protectiveness over Sirius. It all fits so well, suits the character and makes me wonder what Buckbeak thought of Grimmauld Place. And of Remus.
Sirius too. I think you portrayed him excellently, very true to the books. He's not raving mad, but clearly quite disturbed too.
Brilliant. Really brilliant.
Glad you're doing rs games this year.

(As an aside, I sort of feel like writing a Hedwig piece now but it feels like I would be repeating myself? Anyway...)
Hahah, thank you, I'm sure the Games will be awesome. <3
