I don't understand why Sen. Obama gets flack for saying he'd meet with leaders we dislike. He's not saying he's going to give into their demands or compromise at all. I can understand refusing to talk if you don't think it would be at all productive. But to refuse to talk to someone because you just don't like them--that's the sort of tactic you'd expect at your local middle school.

And yes, why wouldn't grown people who are supposed to lead large countries talk out grievances before taking any action? It has never made any sense.
