Lonely is one of the worst feelings in the world. Especially if you are Koyama Keiichiro, waiting for a certain Kato Shigeaki to come home. Shige has been having rehearsals for his new play Seminar all week, and that left Koyama having dinner by himself nearly every night. It didn't help that he knew Shige had to kiss a woman in the play - or was it several of them? Not exactly a pleasant thought to have while waiting for your boyfriend to come home, Koyama thought sulkily.

He considered going out somewhere or asking a friend to eat with him, but tonight he just didn't feel like getting out of the apartment no matter how empty it felt without Shige. He ate a simple dinner he made for himself and sat down to watch TV for a while, but he got bored fairly quickly and decided to go to bed early. He later realized it was a bad decision, because if there is something worse than feeling lonely it would definitely be feeling lonely in an empty bed at night. Koyama resignedly surrendered himself to despondency, and after a few hours of tossing and turning he settled to lying on his side facing the wall and slowly drifted off to a light sleep.

Later on he became vaguely aware of noises in the apartment. But since he had one foot in the realm of dreams and another in the waking world, he didn’t actually do anything about it. It wasn’t until he felt an arm encircling his body from behind and a hand being placed on his waist that he dragged himself away from the sleepiness. Turning around so that he was flat on his back, he found Shige lying by his side. The younger man looked worn out, but a certain softness spread all over his face when he smiled. “Tadaima,” he said.

“Okaeri,” answered Koyama, adding in a tone of mock complaint, “You’re late.”

“Sorry. You know how everyone gets so serious in rehearsals and ends up staying an hour late.” Shige’s arm tightened around Koyama’s slim frame, their faces so close the tips of their noses almost touched. “But I got something for you to make up for it.”

“What?”

Shige’s lips closed over Koyama’s, first lightly and then more passionately, as though responding to his urgent need. Koyama forgot all about feeling sleepy as he parted his lips to let Shige’s tongue in his mouth, wanting to savor the taste he could never seem to get enough of. When Shige pulled away the disappointment in Koyama’s face was blatantly obvious.

“More,” he demanded.

“You know, Koyama,” Shige began, his eyes twinkling teasingly, “greed is one of the vices that-” He stopped short when seeing the look Koyama gave him. “...well, all right.”

Lonely is indeed one of the worst feelings. But lucky for Koyama, he had the ultimate cure for it.
