Summary: Massu gets a special delivery.
I’m so so sorry
Have to go to a last minute meeting at the TV station, and it looks like it’s gonna take long. I don’t think I can come to your place tonight... Really sorry
Massu sighed and leaned back against his couch after reading Koyama’s message. He knew firsthand the unpredictability of work schedules in the entertainment industry, but it was never fun to be the one being stood up. It would be unfair, however, to be upset with Koyama, since none of this was his fault. Besides, one had to be a heartless ogre to be mad at Koyama. Massu was starting to type in a reply assuring that it was OK and that he’d find something else to do by himself when a second message came in.
I sent over a little something for you though.
Massu barely had time to wonder what it was when his doorbell rang. The delivery man at his door was all smiles as he handed him the box of restaurant take-out. Even before opening it Massu already knew what was inside, and of course he was right: a dozen pieces of deep-fried gyoza, its golden-brown color instantly making his mouth water. He tipped the delivery guy generously and returned to the sofa to text Koyama back.
I got it! It looks delicious. Thank you
He paused for a bit, finger hovering above the keys, before adding two words:
Love you.
It only took him enough time to grab a plate and chopsticks from the kitchen before his phone beeped again with an answer.
Love you too, Takahisa.
The smile it gave him lasted throughout the whole meal.

Pairing: Ryo/Massu (gen)
Summary: Massu gets on Ryo’s nerves as they go shopping together.
“Which one do you think is better?”
Ryo whirled around to see Massu holding up two pairs of shorts, one with yellow-blue stripes and the other with unequally-sized red polka dots in a white background. Massu smiled expectantly even as Ryo cringed at the sight.
“You want me to choose?” grumbled Ryo, who thought it was like being asked to decide between leaving Kanjani8 or NEWS.
“I need your opinion. I like them both, I can’t decide.” He lifted them higher as if Ryo couldn’t see the bright colors from a mile off. “So, what do you think?”
Ryo sighed. They had been walking around clothes shops for well over two hours and he just wanted to get this over with. “The left one.”
“Cool, thanks,” Massu beamed and carried the striped pants to the cashier. Soon they were out of the store with their respective shopping bags - Ryo already made his purchase much earlier. They had one last stop at a shoe store where Massu picked up a pair of new sneakers. This time he spent less time making a decision, but Ryo noticed the way he bit his bottom lip, brows wrinkling uneasily as he watched the store attendant wrapping the shoes.
“What’s the matter?” asked Ryo.
“I wish I bought the other shorts instead. They’d match these shoes perfectly.”
Ryo glanced at the sneakers and found nothing in common with the shorts in question. “Don’t tell me you want to return,” he growled. “We’ve been walking around for hours and I’m starving.”
Massu was opening his mouth to argue but canceled when he saw Ryo’s threatening glare. They went to a restaurant to eat and subsequently called a taxi to ride home. As Massu got off in front of his house, he leaned over the window and said, smiling, “Thanks for accompanying me.”
Ryo couldn’t help returning the smile. “You’re welcome. And before you go...” he rummaged in his shopping bag before handing Massu a pair of eye-catching polka dot pants. Massu could only stare open-mouthed as the older man said, ”I knew you’d want them both, so I took these to the other cashier at the back when you weren’t looking.”
“I... Nishikido-kun, thank you.”
“Just don’t wear them in my presence, will you?” Ryo grinned and signaled for the driver to go. As the cab sped away Massu looked at the pair of shorts in his hands and smiled. Of course he was going to wear them when Ryo’s around.

Pairing: Shige/Massu
Summary: Shige is a sloppy eater, and Massu has issues. Inspired by
this video.
Massu observed in silence as Shige seized a handful of karaage and shoved them inside his mouth, eliciting a low hum of appreciation as he chewed. Massu was used to Shige’s lack of table manners by now, although he still gets embarrassed whenever Shige does it in public - luckily they were in the privacy of Shige’s house now. But then Massu’s eyes widened when his band mate wiped his hand on his jeans.
“Shige, that’s gross,” Massu winced. “Use a napkin or something.”
Shige gave him a nonchalant look before saying teasingly, “What if I wipe it on your pants instead?”
Massu narrowed his eyes. “Don’t you even... Shige, stop it!” He yelped in panic as Shige reached his hand ominously toward his pants. The younger man laughed out loud and helped himself to some more karaage even as Massu clicked his tongue disapprovingly.
When Shige was finished with the fried chicken, Massu grasped his hand before he managed to wipe it anywhere. “What are you doing?” asked Shige.
Massu smirked and began licking Shige’s fingers, methodically running his tongue over each of them. Shige felt a tingle deep in his stomach as he watched Massu suck the tip of each finger, his mouth hot and wet. He was done as quickly as he started and calmly put Shige’s hand back on the table before returning to his own food.
Seeing that Massu had no intention to do anything else, Shige pointedly dipped a finger in the sauce. He made sure that Massu’s eyes were following him as he smeared the sauce all over his lips. Massu looked titillated and scandalized at the same time.
“Well?” Shige challenged.
After his surprise wore off Massu simply chuckled. “You look ridiculous,” he said. But the gleam in his eyes showed that Shige had successfully pushed his buttons. It looked like this particular meal was going to end much earlier than expected.
