This chapter is what I've been waiting for; as good as the last story arc was, One Piece is never better than when the Strawhats are together. I can't wait to find out exactly what all of them have been up to the past two years, but I love the mass of new allies they've gained.

Have been watching Popples. I'm now wondering if there's some sort of Harvey-esque qualities about the Popples themselves, as humans other than Bonnie and Billy (and Mike and Penny, but I don't like the characters introduced in the second season all that much) just don't notice them ever. I really need to start turning on lights when I use stairs. Or else not let my mind wander and forget that I'm, y'know, on a staircase about to put my foot somewhere it's not supposed to be. Last week a tripped, slammed into a wall, and skinned my knee. Today I miss three steps and fuck up my ankle. Not a good time to be me.

On a whim last week, I picked up a copy of Not the Messiah. This probably wasn't the best buy, given the fact that A) Life of Brian is my least favorite Python movie and B) I'm not too fond of opera-style singing (she says while using a Pirates of Penzance icon), but my family has copies of almost every other Python, so why not? Later tonight, I was going to write a post about a couple movies I've seen over the past couple days. However, my VCR was just killed by the original Star Trek movie. It won't play any tape, now.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture:  So terrible that it makes appliances commit suicide.

I think my lack of ambition is becoming a problem. Not with the job situation, because let's face it, people with far more ambition than me are also without jobs. At the very least, I'm doing yardwork for some neighbors so that I've got spending money (and arm muscles. Holy shit do I have arm muscles).
