Saying that he was (still) opposed to capping malpractice awards. This wasn't news, really, and thus the boos were fairly scattershot. Plus that issue was a very minor item compared to the bigger topics being presented.

I've noted that the articles I've read about the speech only seem to be focusing on that one item. Oh yeah, "liberal" media.

Do you know if there will be a transcript of the speech available? As someone with chronic health problems and no insurance, I have a vested interest in what the president is saying about health care.

I read yesterday the AMA was opposed to Obama's health care plan? (I didn't read it very carefully, cuz it was print journalism :P)

The AMA has concerns about the potential details about some of his plan's points, but for the most part agrees with the overall aims - and is actively working with Obama (and a couple of other groups) on sorting out the details.
