Things have been rather boring around here. Without a research paper or two to write, I feel that my life is pointless. At least graduation will be over soon. Then I'll get to go home for a week and play with fluffy mufflekins

You get summa from a 3.8?!! I had to graduate with over a 3.9 to get my summa! No fair!

Grade inflation maybe? I'm sure they've got distribution charts that list approximately how many people get it every year and try to keep it around the same number. It's cool that you got it too!

Congratulations on the summa cum laude degree, and the new boots! Good luck with employment and existential satisfaction--soon not having a paper to write will make you feel happy, not pointless (for a while).
