Heroine pimpin' indeed. The main character of the original otome game, and the heroine of the game, Boris is bound to have some sort of affection for Alice. She was the one to teach him about caring for other people and how there are different types of 'normal'. And since more people seem to believe in Alice's sense of normal in Somarium, Boris uses those lessons regularly and thanks Alice for it. However when confronted about his feelings, he'll explain that he thinks that they're just friends! He cares about Alice's well-being, and sure, he's cheeky enough to ask for a kiss, but they're just friends that kiss! :D

If there's anyone in Somarium who shares a wavelength with Boris, it's probably Alfred. They get along rather well indeed, though there's plenty of taunting and teasing going around during their conversations. Sometimes Boris thinks it's a good idea to play a trick on Alfred. It turns out that he's very, very wrong. Weirdest partnership ever. First impressions weren't so great, seeing as Boris may or may not have handcuffed Break to Vincent via sticky cotton candy that one night at the carnival. Now Boris goes to Break whenever he has a problem with Vincent, and sometimes even when there isn't a problem with Vincent, he finds it fun to mess with Break. If there was ever a contest for 'Most Fail-tastic Person in Somarium', Boris would happily nominate Beat. The test of strength at the carnival? That hunt for curry during the hunger event? The snowball fight? The mistletoe thread? How many times can you afford to fail, buddy? That said, Boris does see Beat as an odd friend-of-sorts. It's sad how much the icon manages to explain this relationship. Boris is a cat. Pierce is a mouse. Cat wants to eat mouse. Boris wants to each Pierce. It makes an awkward sort of sense if you don't read too much into it. So since Pierce is the Dormouse of their world, Boris makes it a point to hate him. Insults, name-calling, threats, pounces, attacks... Yeah, everything he can try. Though deep down, and I don't think anyone could ever manage to get this info out of him, Boris doesn't really hate Pierce that much. There's no one, no one Boris hates more that he wasn't familiar with from back home. Now, most of this is unfounded. The fact that Vincent is essentially the Dormouse of his world is enough that Boris feels an unnatural dislike towards him. His instincts tell him that Vincent is a bad guy, and the fact that he isn't as easy to push around as Pierce somewhat amplifies that. He can manage to see through the facade, if by pure stubbornness alone. Either way, Boris is now making it a point to hate Vincent and keep the people he cares about away from the stupid rat. LINK . Senri is Boris's buddy, and not just in the more light-hearted ways either. Sure, Boris has to keep up most of the conversation by himself, but that doesn't stop him from managing to drag around Senri to a number of places and getting the both of them into a couple of messes. Either way, Boris managed to learn some about Senri and somehow along the way, Senri started caring about his well-being. And if Senri cares about him, Boris should care back, right? Just another one of the people who live in the carnival~ But Zidane is one of the few people in Somarium who have a tail, like Boris. Even better, it's not a rat tail. So clearly that means that they were bound to get along. :D Now that Doll's gone, Zidane's the one in charge of making sure that the cat doesn't do anything too stupid around the carnival. Boris's protege~ There's a bit of devilish spark to this kid, just the slightest bit, and Boris definitely approves. He plans on bringing out more of that, seeing as far as he knows, this kid is just way too polite. Though right now, the Cheshire Cat is working on teaching this one the ways of the world, how to properly impress girls and how to properly hunt after a boa. After the initial confusion, Boris definitely grew attached to this one. Anyone who gives him as much attention as she does is A-OK in his book. He still wants to figure out of this Alice and his own Alice are related in any way, but then he realizes it doesn't really matter. Knowing why something happens doesn't change the fact that it does happen, even it if does make you a little bit more knowledgeable. So really, if you don't figure something out, it doesn't matter that much because no matter what you do, it still happens, whether you know why or why not.
