I had a lovely, lovely time in Berlin and Prague. I could write an entire essay about them, and I probably will. But for now I wanted to get some thoughts out on something else

That kind sounds really beautiful actually. I've always thought that when it's my time to go, that is how I want it. That lady sounds like a wonderful soul and someone who was really special.
I think it's okay to be sad at those kinds of parties, it's hard not to be and it's okay to admit it, it's okay to miss someone, but the point being is to remember all the good they did and the life they lived. But hey I'll admit, if I where to ever go to those parties now, I would be at a loss of what to say too, how to express my sadness, but also enjoy myself?

I can't wait to hear all about your adventures in Germany and Prague! As always your adventures in other countries sounds exciting!
Yeah, it really was lovely, and the fact that so many people came is a real testament to how much she was loved and how valued her work was. I would hope for so much in my life. But it's an emotional experience being there because there just seems so much to be sad about!

It is sad, I couldn't help thinking how sad it was, especially since it was such a short time since I'd heard she was diagnosed. But we're going to try to continue her legacy! I have to write to the BBC now and try and persuade them to give me the footage from the show they made. Hopefully they'll be understanding.

The doctor sounds like she was a wonderful person. It sounds like a great loss for the world that she is no longer with us!
