'Yeah, so that was probably the stupidest thing ever if you haven't seen any of the "I Love the [insert decade here]" shows.'
Well, I've never seen a single episode and I don't care to see the '90s series because I was alive for it and really don't need to be reminded of it by some dropkick commentators who are just begging for ratings, but heee, your segment was hilarious! Ahahaha! Got to love that Discotheque video, eh? And gah, POPMART!
Hm, personally, I really don't care to remember much of the nineties. It's in the past, and I'm happy to leave it there. Apart from New Zealand's rugby achievements. I'd like to watch a show of that! Ha.
Caroline I think WE should do our OWN I Love the 90s. Or at least you. Because you are funny. XD
I've been dissapointed with I Love the 90s, actually. It's not nearly as funny as I love the 80s. And I can't believe they didn't talk about Titantic. That's so weird...
WE SHOULD! It would rule. But thanks for the compliment. *blushes* *grins*
You just KNOW there's going to be an "I Love the 90's Strikes Back." I mean, if you go to the episode summaries on VH1.com, about 25% of what's on there didn't make it on the show. I'm not complaining though.....maybe THAT'S when Zoo TV will surface! (Ha! No Doritos for you!)
Oh wow that was hilarious. I can't believe you know them all so well that you can pick out what they're saying and all that. *giggles* But at first I thought you were talking about how it had really happened...
Heh, yeah, so did I...I was like, "They reviewed Discotheque? Where can I see this?" *bigger dork than you, apparently*
But yeah, that was teh funneh. What would happen if it was like...I love the '00s, and they reviewed Beautiful Day? (there is no good name for the decade we're in, is there?)
Yeah, there's no good name for this decade. Aughts? Oreos? O-os? Pffft. If they did BD, though, I can imagine a Steph-like joke about Bono being knocked down by airplanes sneaking in. :D
The Discotheque video commentary was freakin' epic, dude. You totally got down the cheesy video inserts that VH1 does. Bravo!
Did you see Best Week Ever a few weeks ago when they talked about Clinton Mania? Chuck Nice said something to the effect of, "I haven't been this excited since U2's Popmart tour!" and they inserted him and the other panelists into a Popmart concert crowd. Good times, good times.
Hey yourself! Thanks for adding me in the first place. I feel so special. :D
The video inserts are often amusing. ^___^ Sometimes they get a little old, though. Glad you liked my spin on it!
I didn't see the BWE you mentioned, but of the few episodes I've seen they've mentioned U2 a couple times. They talked about Bono giving the commencement address at UPenn, and how cool that would be. The other episode was when Britney Spears canceled her tour- someone joked that it was going to be the greatest thing since U2's Popmart. *eyeroll* Popmart kicks you ASS, Britney! Yeah! *deep breath* *calms down*

Anyway, I always call them the Aughts if I HAVE to. That's mostly cause I remember the 1900s being called the aughts in some musical somewhere...
