End of a journey...

Well, a good five months later, I've finished the last reflective piece of this epic journey. I'm so pleased to finally be done, and for those that were following along diligently as we were actually traveling, I'm sorry I've let you down - but at least you now know how it ends!

I had a good cry this morning....why, I am not sure.
This all holds such a special and personal memory for me.
I have never experienced anything like this, even though I have
traveled alot, this was different, but hard to put into words.
I have such a longing to do this again..........the road keeps calling
me, i just have to have patience, and there really is no one I would do
this with again..........so I will keep reading, searching for the next "road trip"
Thank you so much for putting our special memory into writing, I will treasure it always, and to know this is not a one time event but the beginning of our journey keeps me going everyday. It is not the destination but the journey, and am looking forward to the next one.

Aww that's cool. And so glad you could find things to see even when your way seemed blocked. The way you described the lake and the other areas brought them to life for me. I'm sorry your wonderful vacation had to come to an end, but I appreciate you sharing it. And I hope that by posting on it you remembered that happy time and you can find a bit of peace everyday.
