Well if I'd had a wedding to plan I think my list would have been a fraction of the size!

If you fancy a light read then Ben Aaronvitch's Rivers of London is very amusing and an easy read.

Wow, 15 out of 26 are non-fiction! I really don't read non-fiction myself - got so out of the habit after accountancy training, and I find it much, much harder to get into.

Well accountancy certainly is very, very hard going.

However something like Rebecca Skloot's The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks is like a whodunnit and absolutely fascinating, a very easy read.
