there are a lot of nerves in your hands, and also a lot of blood vessels. it makes for pain, but also makes for quick healing. how much of your finger did you lose?

i sliced my hand open in the meat between my index finger and my thumb(ya know, the fleshy web area) when i worked for earth fare. the emergency room doctor glued it back together and wrapped it.

i had the weirdest sensations in my hand as the nerves and shit were putting themselves back together.

i really didnt lose THAT much, smaller than a dime size area, but at least as thick as a nickel. maybe like a shirt button? i just changed the dressing today and it looks like there's some skin regrowth now, or at least its not bleeding anymore. i'll make a post about yesterday though, it was pretty rowdy.
