The End of the World

Just in case the world does end at 6pm this evening and I am taken up to Heaven/thrown down to Hell, I wanted to let all my flisties know that it's been a pleasure and an honour to know you all. You've enriched my life here on earth and if we end up in Heaven/Hell together, I'm sure we'll have more fun times to come!

I'm making a general statement to the universe PTB telling them that the world is not allowed to end until after you've visited my city again. :)

Oh, pfffft. As if we'd go to Heaven. You're having a lend of yourself.

You and I will be on the long elevator downwards, I'm afraid. And there'll be Corin Nemec music in the lift, as we pass floor after floor of fundamentalist religious types. 14th floor, Menswear, kitchen appliances, Penetecostals.

But we'll stage a daring breakout before we reach teh Big Bad and find an escape tunnel to Purgatory, where the chardonnay is never quite cold enough, the prawns are always dodgy and the neighbour's telly is too loud, but where we can watch Due South and Torchwood and Dr Who and Supernatural and early Stargate on an old cathode ray TV to our heart's content. Although it always closes down at 11pm.

And I coulnd't think of anyone I'd rather spend a few millennia in Limbo with.
