I just can't believe that John Barrowman has been voted off Dancing on Ice. He and his partner Olga were the best couple in it, with a lovely partnership that was developing really well. Their routines were exciting and fun and, as Christopher Dean said, the show has lost its best performer

Travesty is the word of the day it seems, in the John Barrowman fan world, and elsewhere too, if the poll on the DOI web site is to be believed (and the result isn't just 'outraged' because of multiple voting by JB fans

I think the other celebs were as shell-shocked as everyone else. That result was just not expected. I suspect you are right - people thought he was "safe" because of his high judges' marks so didn't vote, especially if they wanted to give a sympathy vote to David (because of squashing Pam) or Kelly (because she hurt her wrist) and as the cost of calls is so high, didn't vote for John, even if they did like his performance and wanted him to stay
