Aren't they funny? Tom still isn't talking that much - I mean, nothing to worry about, but nothing like a lot of my friends' kids who are his age or younger - but he still surprises me with what he comes out with. Lately he just shushes us if we say something he doesn't like. "Tom, it's nearly time for bed." "Shhhhh!"

Haha. Wait until he is 6 or so, then he will shout all.the.time. except when you want him to speak up, such as when you are out in busy museums and it's really noisy and you have to ask him to repeat himself 20 times every hour because he is whispering like a mouse.
