First icon batch! Not perfect yet, but at least I'm trying to make something decent. I'm using textures for the first time, but I'd like to use brushes next time. Do you know where I can *safely* download cute brushes for Photoshop Elements 7

Tips/Tricks:
2nd and 7th one (And probably the 5th one) - the faces should stand out a little bit more, you want to draw immediate attention to your icons. yet do not overuse the brightness/contrast tool.

- also make sure your pics are decent quality - the 4th icon for example - the photo is beautiful but her face is kinda...weird.

Check out comms as icon_tutorial, iconextras, icon_textures ...Helped me a lot.

Otherwise keep on experimenting, it's the best way.
