Ack ack ack Ella I'm so late and this is going to be totally insufficient because I want to quote evvvverything. But I love this so so so much! This was the first Nuke fic I'd read in a really long time, and it has both renewed my thirst for MOREMOREMORE and set me up for tragic disappointment because how can I expect that other stories will be this good? I can not. Therefore you suck and I hate you.

Except I don't really. Please write more. Like all the time. And thank you so much for this wonderful story. It put such a smile on my face. ♥♥♥

omg Rachel not late at all! Thank you really really really lots! :D And ACK that's, like, the biggest/scariest praise ever! This is the Nuke fic you came back to? I feel like I should apologize for the crazy stupid angst and stupid boys! But seriously- I'm kinda honored by that. And if you want some recs for fics that are incredibly well written, I know a few! "Camera and a Casting Couch" and... oh wait. YOU'VE WRITTEN SOME AMAZING STUFF YOURSELF :P You suck and I hate you too, you know. But since I'm so effing glad you're reading and around and here and I'm still kinda fangirl-wowed that you read my stories, I won't stay mad for too long :P You're too awesome for that, it overcomes my spite.

RL got in the way and I couldn't finish the last 2 chapters until now. I couldn't get it out of my mind and was getting anxious. Reading this was like taking a drug. Now, I have such an incredibily euphoric feeling throughout my body. Maybe you should bottle your fics and sell them. This made me so happy. I didn't comment on ch.3 because I was too anxious to read the end. (btw, I'm so sad it had to end.)

I could hear so many lines in my head actually being said by Luke and Noah. You used elements of canon perfectly. You did such a wonderful job showing how Luke finds himself and realizes he wants to do "the hard part." When Noah said he didn't want to be a failure, it just broke my Noah-loving heart.

I always smile when I hear "kiddo" from Holden or from Kim. Loved Lucinda and Casey, etc.

Thanks for sharing this delicious fic with us. I can't wipe this smile off my face. :)

And it's really one of the best compliments to get, that it sounds like stuff they'd actually say. It was a crazy-fun time trying to get as much canon in as possible, glad you liked! I really appreciate it and your Noah-loving heart ;)

This was terrific from start to finish! I just loved how you made the reader feel the depth of their instant connection, and how simpatico they naturally are. And those love scenes were some of the hottest I've read for the boys. Well done all around!

And very very glad you felt that connection between the guys- I always worry that that won't come through, so yay again :) And also- I'm never a huge fan of writing love scenes (reading, however... bring it on), so double huge yay and thanks for your comment- I'm just trying to keep up with the awesome stories I've read on the comm and the hayloft! Thanks so much for reading and commenting at each chapter- I really appreciate it!

Ella, I loved everything about this - the premise, your cast of characters, how real they felt and how true they felt to the characters we know. And your point with Luke falling back in love with writing? Makes me want to try to write again.

Your phrasing is so lovely. For example:
Hands were still everywhere, touching every bit of him, stuttering across his skin so quickly it felt like eyes blinking over his body.

Gorgeous.

The whole story is gorgeous and I could see it playing out as a movie. Which makes your ending very meta-adorable.

Also, I agree with Sara's point. I felt sorry for Reid too. He's still himself and still with Luke but somehow I'm totally okay with that scenario here because they have realistic couple issues that I can really see Luke and Reid having. You just laid it out simply and realistically and logically. And I wish you wrote for the show. :P (Though this is certainly not the first time I wished it!)

Anyway, just wanted to say I love this, you, your brain. ♥

What do you mean "want to try to write again"? You are a writer, hon. A damn good one.

But thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart- you're someone who really has a precise, amazing way with words, so hearing this from you means a lot. Trying to make the story realistic and soapy was a fun challenge, I'm so glad it came across right for you!

(I wish I wrote for a show :P Just maybe not this one, you know? ;) Maybe a different one with Van and Jake. And Billy. And Chando. And Noelle.)
