The domestic stuff is always fun to read and write- especially when things get so angsty later, it's a good balance! (And it's never a hard thing to read cute boys being dorky and in love, right?)

It was never really clear to me why Luke chose Damian over Holden in the original story. This is heart wrenching way to start the story though!
