I confess that I'm relieved that whole End Days business did not come to fruition, because if the world had ended before I got around to putting the Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack on the calendar, I would have felt I'd failed you all

Best adaptation EVER!!! I remember the first time I saw it and being so very impressed at how the Muppets manged to sty so faithful to the story. I watch it multiple times every season.

I'll admit I am a few days behind on the musical advent calendar ::gasp:: but I'm catching up today!!

I think I've admitted this before but man if this is not the one Christmas movie that doesn't make me all Grinch-y. I adore it to pieces. (And as such, we are watching in Christmas Eve with his family... I'm weirdly excited.)

So thank you, for the music (ABBA) and for the little spark of Christas Joy in my shriveled Hannukah Heart. ;)
