There's someone sleeping in the stacks right above my office. There's an open balcony so I can hear them snoring. I should go wake them up, but I just don't care enough to walk up the stairs. Though if I set off the alarm on the back door it would scare the hell out of them, and that would be funny.

When we were in college I used to do all my homework in the library. Peter always fell asleep waiting. At that time he wasn't a snorer...but he definitely slept! The janitor used to get really huffy about it but the librarains thought he was 'cute'.

Ah, memories!

Now go set off the alarm.

Sleeping is against the rules here, unlike in a lot of college libraries. Personally I don't care that much, but if we didn't have the rule people would be lying all over the place napping all day, since I don't think they can sleep in the day room at the shelter.

Yeah, we didn't have a big homeless population on the campus. My local library does seem to have an abudance, tho. So sad that there's no place for them to find a safe haven.
