I should really start walking up the hill again. Not only is it better for my backside, but I would avoid the daily elevator shuffle. It's kind of hilarious, though. I'll almost miss it.

You'll miss that when you're in the north, where people press the "close door" button because even though they see you coming not that I've ever done that.

Something to complain about! I'll probably just laugh to myself and remember my puzzle piece elevator days.

(I am actually not crazy about elevators and need to stop taking them anyway.)

Enjoy it now. Because once you get in Yankee country, people are rude as hell on the elevator. In the South, they hold the elevator for you if you with something massive like a book truck are trying to get on... here, nope. (I work as a tech for the LOC).

Me, I live in Massachusetts and I like holding the elevator door (with my arm or foot) for other people rushing to catch it. And I'm female. :)
