tomorrow I have to find my bunny ears or my niece will be very disappointed

Mar 30, 2013 18:03

I woke up at...1:30 this morning? I'm not really sure. I know I went to bed just after 10:00, and the next time I looked at my phone it was 1:00-something. I laid there and pet the cat for awhile, then I got up and moved to the couch to watch terrible Netflix movies and pet the cat some more ( Read more... )

Never been fond of dogs that are the size of cats... so yippee.

Waking up at 1:30 sounds seriously sucky... says the person who went to bed at 2:30.

My mom has two now! A Dachshund and a Doxipoo. They're sweet, but very yippee indeed. I want a dog to go hiking with me, and that's going to be a bigger dog.

I'm so tired. SO tired. But at least I'll sleep well tonight, and I don't have to work tomorrow.

One of Luis' cousins is always Facebooking about shelter dogs... think she probably volunteers at one.

Get good sleep.

A lot of the dogs I've been looking at on Petfinder are southern dogs that get transported up north for adoption. It's pretty stunning, the difference in the way people think about their pets in this area.

Funny story: I sat down on the couch last night around 8:00, I think? I was going to watch a little Netflix and then go to bed at 9:00 so I'd sleep through the night instead of waking up at midnight. I got as far as turning on the TV, I guess, because the next thing I knew it was 11:30, the TV was on, and both cats were on the couch with me like, "Welp, guess we're sleeping here tonight."

I dragged myself upstairs to brush my teeth and then slept until 10:00 in the morning. Guess I needed to catch up.

I wore bunny ears at work yesterday. I told my coworker Bob that it was the closest I'd ever get to being a Playboy Bunny and then we started calling him Hugh Hefner.

Good times....

Heh. Excellent life choice! I will be wearing mine later today for the annual Easter egg hunt, if we don't get rained out.

So, today I was at Old Navy (which is open--at least here--on Easter) buying a denim jacket for Emma and as I was standing in line for checkout, I saw they had a bunch of bunny ears for sale. I don't know if yours will, but if you have trouble finding some, that might be a place that has them that you wouldn't think to look for them at.

Oh, I have a pair, they're just somewhere in my storage area so I have to go dig through boxes. I know I saw them when I was putting away Christmas decorations.

You are made of far stronger stuff than me, you know that. I can never, ever, EVER go shopping on holiday weekends or I am liable to murder someone and end up in prison.

PS: But thank you! I appreciate the tip. I'm sure our Old Navy is open, because all anyone in this town ever does is shop, even on holidays. You'd think they'd all be in church, but somehow they still manage to be all over the stores and clogging up the roads and generally making my blood pressure rise and that's why I will just stay home until it's time to go to my sister's.
